Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve defined sales volume and revenue targets in line with the company’s business plan.
  • Generate, follow up, and successfully close sales leads.
  • Drive sales of the company’s retail products and engineering services.
  • Provide timely reports and feedback to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication, align sales strategies with business goals, and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to execute strategic marketing campaigns and enhance brand awareness across the region.
  • Develop initiatives to increase product awareness and boost sales.
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor product availability, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Engage stakeholders in the oil and gas sector to drive partnerships and growth.
  • Support the OHS coordinator by reporting and investigating incidents (near-misses and accidents).

Requirements

  • B.Sc. or HND in any discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
  • At least 2 years’ retail sales experience in the fuelling systems, engineering industry, or similar sector.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% within Western Nigeria.
  • Excellent knowledge of Lagos terrain for optimal sales coverage.
  • Must reside in Lagos (preferably Ojodu-Berger).
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is an added advantage.
