Key Responsibilities
- Obtain a thorough medical history including current health concerns, past illnesses, family history, habits, and allergies.
- Conduct detailed clinical examinations with accurate documentation.
- Make appropriate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans.
- Request and review laboratory tests, interpreting results to support medical decisions.
- Educate patients by explaining diagnoses, treatment options, outcomes, and preventive measures.
- Prescribe medications and provide clear usage instructions.
- Request additional medical evaluations and make referrals where necessary.
- Collaborate with consultants and healthcare specialists for case management.
- Maintain comprehensive patient records and documentation.
- Perform other related medical duties as assigned.
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- Completion of NYSC service.
- Strong clinical knowledge, patient-centered approach, and ability to work collaboratively.
