The Marketing Academy has opened nominations for its 2025 UK Scholarship programme, an initiative designed to develop marketers’ skills and prepare them to take on senior leadership roles.

The Scholarship – funded in the UK by partners Salesforce, Accenture Song, Bazaarvoice, BT, ITV, KFC UK and Ireland, Mars, PHD Media and TikTok – sees hundreds of marketers from brands, media owners and agencies compete in a fiercely competitive three-stage selection process for just 30 places.

Selected scholars will receive a free, highly selective, 15-day learning programme delivered over nine months. To apply, candidates must first be nominated by someone who believes they represent the very best of the UK’s marketing talent.

To be eligible, candidates must have between eight and 18 years experience in a marketing or agency role, be currently in a leadership role, be highly ambitious to further their career in marketing leadership, aspiring to C-Suite or board roles, employed on a permanent (not freelance) basis in the UK at a company for a minimum of six months and have no known risk of termination or resignation for the duration of the programme.

The curriculum is built around four key modules: personal development, people development, professional development, and purpose.

Nominations are open now and can be submitted via the Marketing Academy website until Friday, 14 February 2025. Applications for those nominated will close on Friday, 21 February 2025.

The 2024 cohort featured talent, including Amanda Wong, head of market intelligence at BT Group; Emily Laws, head of brand at Lucky Saint; Lucy Pack, senior brand marketing manager at ITV; and Victoria Grzymek, marketing manager at Cadbury, Mondelēz International.
